What is a favicon? Favicon is short for "Favorites Icon." The Canfield Football favicon is a cardinal.

Once the site is bookmarked, the cardinal will appear in the address bar as well as under the favorites menu.

It will also appear on a computer desktop if you create a shortcut to the site.

In order to see the favicon on your computer, you must add the website to your "Favorites" in your browser. If you already have the website saved, overwrite it. To create a desktop icon, use the "File" menu in your browser to create a shortcut - it is also known as "Send" > "Shortcut to Desktop."
